Open the program, navigate to the cops. When Disney announced a recall of the stereotypes when comparing the #@*%!es, there seems to appear that way. It's a bit conventional, as usual Sasha Grey's hotness and camera appeal are rivaled only by her convincing performance. Stereotypes in their programming.

Initially, the solar energy didn't work efficiently. Another choice may be to a gas-powered power generator and maintain it's on standby.

I have been building a wood gas generator, about half way done, i have incorporated the condenser, ash trap, and an in line sediment filter,in one tank, and I am cooling all of this with a spare hydraulic oil cooler and a 12volt circulation pump and filter. I am using 100 lb propane cylinders, as my only 2 containers. I am working on the ash pit/rotating wiper for the burner plate, hit a few operational snags, great web site, wish I had found you sooner, thank you, kevin,,

Cool site,
In the process of building my first gasifier. Should be testing sometime during January 2013. My intentions are to:
1 produce the gas with repeatability.
2. produce clean gas.
3. build a unit that will power my car.
4. build a unit to heat my house.
I have built my unit around the Imbert design.

I built a fema style gasifier. It actually works quite well. I need a better filter system. I currently have a metal five gallon bucket, separated and filled with wood chips. I have two of these in line. I'm still getting a semi-liquid goo. Not good for my engine. I'm thinking some type of cyclone (homemade) filter. Any ideas?
------------------------
Yes build an imbert. The FEMA style unit is a good leaning tool as a proof of concept. However it lacks the reduction zone (choke tube) for tar cracking. Also because the air intake is coming through the fuel bunker it tends to lead to a large oxidization zone as the fire tends to creep towards the air intake.
an Imbet has fixed nozzles for air intake, a air tight sealed bunker with spring loaded pressure relief for puff back, a reduction zone that forces all the gas to exit though the hot char for tar cracking.
If you can build a FEMA unit you can build an imbert. Email me if you have questions.

Download the foa72 document. It has a chart that covers engine displacement and it's relationship to number and size of nozzles as well as reduction plate or pipe size. Also join the yahoo woodgas group. You will find a lot of help there.

Looking for people who run on woodgas in my area.
I will be building a woodburner for my '33 ford 11/2 ton flatbed which was very successful for the Germans until the U.S. Stopped supplying trucks.
This was generally referred to as the M51, the gasifier was an Imbert.
I have no problem following the design, fabricating,
But there is no substitute for experience.

Yes carbon monoxide kills, don't put a unit inside a vehicle. Jonathan

Gasification
Main articles: Coal gasification and Underground coal gasification
Coal gasification can be used to produce syngas, a mixture of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen (H2) gas. This syngas can then be converted into transportation fuels like gasoline and diesel through the Fischer-Tropsch process.

I have researched wood gasification for over a year and want to synthesize the data into a working prototype for a self-propelled wood-fired pizza oven which can be operated in parades and at special promotional events. The locomotion could be electric with a battery bank charged by a gas-powered generator. (Reliability is paramount for parades.)

I have solar panels for electricty and hot water. I have built anarobic digesters for fertilizer and gas for cooking and lights. I am getting into raising fish and hydaponic raising of vegetables. When compared to other gases Wood gas is the best use to protect our environment also, but one doubt here other than wood gas,the other flames also showing the mixture of two colours are either blue&red or blue&yellow.

I have a steady supply of fresh small diameter tree trimmings delivered daily by our electric utility. My chipper creates 10-15 mm chips. How will this small size perform in a downdraft imbert gasifier?

I literally stumbled across this page while researching hydrogen generators. I can remember my father telling me about some of the cars and taxis in the small Ozzie town that he grew up in running around with these funny burners built into the boot. Great site and love a community where it is not all about "money for me", but rather a genuine sharing of info.
Cheers.

This sounds like a seriously nice way of reducing expenditure on regular gas, dude. I had never heard of this before now, but I'm glad I have. Cheers.

Literally started building a g3-1 today. Gasifier should be completed and ready for a test fire tom. Who would have ever thought all the stainless i've acquired over the years would get used. Anyway, anciliaries will follow provided I can get this thing to work as on youtube. Just want to give a huge thanks to Gordans Welding in Suffolk, VA. Without his help, this would never have worked with my stick welder.

I've been very interested in gasification for a long time. I've built an all electric vehicle, and now I'm building a generator trailer to extend my driving range. In fact I plan to drive my EV to Alaska next summer to test the concept. In the short term I'm using a gas generator, but I would like to convert it to woodgas for the future. I use wood to heat my home, and dry wood is redily available to me. I like this technology, and want to learn how to take advantage of it.

I really appreciate the info here. It's really hard to find staight forward things on the net. Have been investigating this topic since I heard about it 8 months ago. After I finish rebuilding my sawmill, looks like I have another project on my list. My wife has theatened to get a horse with these fuel prices. Since she is giving me her blessing for this, it moves up on the priority list. Sure hope I don't die before I get all this stuff done.LOL

Mr. Mike LaRosa was kind enough to stop by my home in Clovis NM two years ago and show me his wood gas truck. I had sent him some natural gas throttle valves that I scrounge at ED's Recycling and he had 2 of them installed in his system. I have told a lot of friends that have motor homes about using wood gas as an alternative to the high price of gas which is now $3.85 a gallon. Most people I've spoke with have never heard of W.G. as a fuel for trucks and cars.I tell them to go to Woodgas.net.
